Ryan Scott, Ph.D.

Community Engagement Manager

In this role, Scott supports the marketing and community engagement initiatives of Georgia AIM project and the Georgia Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center. Projects under the Georgia AIM initiative will serve to encourage increased collaborative relationships between communities and businesses across the state. Specifically, Scott identifies, cultivates, and builds relationships with community-based organizations, sponsors, corporations, and partners that promote innovation, workforce development, and participation in Georgia AIM by all communities.

Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Scott worked as the Executive Director of the Social Justice Institutes at Carlow University. He has earned a Doctorate of Education from the University of Pittsburgh, Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from West Virginia University. He is also in the final stages of completing a Master of Business Administration degree from Carlow University.

Scott’s interests include traveling abroad, music, acting, spending quality time with family and friends, and being an advocate for social justice for all.
