Held Sept. 29-Oct. 3 the week will include 13 events across the state
ATLANTA — The second annual Georgia AIM week takes place Sept. 29-Oct. 3, 2025, with events showcasing how artificial intelligence (AI) and other technology innovations are enhancing industries across Georgia from manufacturing to agriculture training the workforce and connecting K-12 students to smart technology.
Hosted by Georgia Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing (Georgia AIM) and with the theme, “AIM For Tomorrow,” the week will host activities virtually and in nine Georgia communities to help manufacturers, farmers, entrepreneurs, students, and educators learn how to use AI to grow their businesses, expand their knowledge and skills, and advance their careers. The week concludes on National Manufacturing Day, Oct. 3.
Funded by a $65 million U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration grant with state and private support, Georgia AIM is leading 15 projects across the state, all working to develop a manufacturing workforce skilled in smart technologies and to deploy innovation in the manufacturing industry. Georgia AIM is the largest federally funded initiatives of its kind in the country connecting economic development with AI in manufacturing to foster advancements in innovation and workforce development. The project is led by the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).
“Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing every aspect of our lives, from how we learn to how we work to even how we play,” said Georgia AIM Co-Director Donna Ennis. “Georgia AIM Week highlights Georgia AIM’s mission to connect manufacturers to smart technologies, and to educate the workforce of the future.”
