AIM for Tomorrow: Igniting Innovation

Hosted by 12 for Life in Partnership with Georgia AIM

Join us for a day of discovery and fun. Middle school students explore manufacturing, AI, and STEM careers with tours, coding, nuclear-inspired engineering, fabrication, and tech demos at 12 for Life. This event also features special appearances by the Georgia AIM Mobile Studio and the Fort Valley State University Fab Lab!

Part of the M.A.K.E. Series

Is your company thinking about growth and capital investments? This edition of the M.A.K.E. Series, hosted by Georgia AIM, helps manufacturers study their process and create a phased plan to help implement new technology over time. This can save a lot of money and headache by ensuring investments are strategic.

Manufacturing 4.0 Consortium Meeting (Day 1)

Members of the Manufacturing 4.0 Consortium will connect, share insights, and explore collaboration opportunities. Highlights include facility and project updates, a data management panel, a supply chain presentation, and networking sessions. The afternoon concludes with a reception. Open to consortium members only.

AIM for Tomorrow: Cyber Innovation Day

This event highlights how Georgia AIM is empowering small and medium manufacturers and their supply chain, fostering industry-academic collaboration, and creating hands-on opportunities for students and emerging technologists.

• Student showcases from AI and cybersecurity training programs

Visitors can also experience the Fort Valley State University Fab Lab.

AIM for Tomorrow: National Manufacturing Day Celebration

Celebrate National Manufacturing Day and Georgia AIM Week with an afternoon of tours, technology demonstrations, and engaging activities on the University of Georgia campus. Meet industry representatives, explore the Georgia AIM Mobile Studio, enjoy music and yard games, and take part in a manufacturing listening and speaker session.

West Georgia Manufacturing Day

This trade-show style event at West Georgia Technical College fosters engagement between education and industry, introducing hundreds of students to careers in manufacturing. The event includes interactive demos, opportunities for students to talk with regional manufacturers about careers, and connections to educational opportunities.

AIM 2 Summit

A one-day event highlighting the importance of AI, automation, innovation, manufacturing, and mechatronics in Dublin and the surrounding community. Meet employers and learn about educational opportunities available to high school graduates. Sponsored by the Dublin-Laurens County Chamber Community Foundation.

SAVANNAH

AIM for Tomorrow: Pathways to Careers (Day 1)

Students can connect with manufacturers and supply chain professionals hiring in the Savannah area. Explore careers and make valuable connections for the future workforce. This event is organized by the Savannah-Chatham County School District and is open to district high school students and their families.

AIM for Tomorrow: Pathways to Careers (Day 2)

Georgia AIM celebrates National Manufacturing Day with mobile studio visits to Effingham college & Career Academy near Savannah. Throughout the day, students in a variety of career pathway programs will get tours of the Georgia AIM Mobile Studio and the Fort Valley State University Fab Lab, where they will get to experience AR/VR technology, Nova the robot dog, drones and cobots, and a special hydroponics activity.

This event is open to ECCA students.

SPECIAL VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITY!

Manufacture Your Music

Students explore computer science, music, and manufacturing using EarSketch to code original beats while learning core coding concepts and connecting them to real-world manufacturing careers. No experience needed—just curiosity! This event runs asynchronously starting Sept. 28 through Oct. 6.

This event is a (virtual) field trip experience for students, and teachers are to remain in care and custody of their student during the entire duration of the event. Please ensure there is at least one adult present with your students at all times.
