Our Team
Kristen Morales is the marketing strategist for Georgia Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing (Georgia AIM), a statewide initiative that brings together 16 partner projects to accelerate the adoption of smart technologies in manufacturing. In this role, she leads strategic communications and marketing efforts that connect manufacturers, workforce programs, and regional partners across Georgia.
Since joining Georgia AIM, Morales has built the program’s communications function from the ground up—developing its website, logo, and brand identity; launching social media channels; and implementing a coordinated marketing strategy to support statewide visibility. She works closely with workforce and economic development partners such as the Technical College System of Georgia, Georgia Tech’s Center for Economic Development Research, the Georgia Cyber Center for Innovation and Training, and others to help manufacturers explore and implement new technologies. Her collaboration with Georgia Tech also includes promoting public events and technical expertise from Georgia Tech’s manufacturing and supply chain leaders.
Prior to Georgia AIM, Morales spent nine years promoting academic programs at the University of Georgia and more than 15 years as a reporter, editor, and page designer at newspapers in Massachusetts, New York, California, Florida, and Georgia. In 2010, she founded Paper Forest, a publication design and consulting company serving family-owned newspapers across the Southeast.
Morales holds a B.S. in Print Journalism from Syracuse University and an A.S. in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. She is currently pursuing a diploma in Construction Management from Lanier Technical College and enjoys building and remodeling projects in her spare time.
