Second annual The Future Is HER features Microsoft Advertising CMO Jennifer Kattula as keynote

ATLANTA — Microsoft Advertising CMO Jennifer Kattula will give the keynote address at the second annual The Future Is HER event sponsored by Georgia Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing (Georgia AIM), 9 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. March 26 at the Georgia Tech Research Institute Conference Center.

The day-long event will focus on how artificial intelligence (AI) is influencing new and emerging skills across a range of industries and will feature a series of panel discussions and a job fair.

Kattula is the general manager and chief marketing officer of Microsoft Advertising, the company’s online advertising platform. She is a leading authority on responsible AI and has appeared at Cannes and other forums, sharing her perspectives on AI’s role in marketing strategy and storytelling.

“Jennifer’s cutting-edge expertise will kick off a day exploring how professionals are incorporating AI into their skills,” said Georgia AIM Co-Director Donna Ennis. “We designed this year’s event to respond to the needs of both new career-seekers and experienced employees looking for a career pivot. AI can be a powerful bridge whether you’re looking to upskill or reskill. I’m excited that Jennifer will bring the energy and momentum for the day.”

The event is co-hosted by Georgia AIM, STEM Atlanta and Pink STEM. It features six industry-specific panel discussions that include AI in manufacturing, cybersecurity, financial technology, cosmetics, the arts/creative careers and marketing/advertising. Breakfast and lunch are included. The day wraps with a special panel focused on AI in hiring trends, a hiring fair and a networking event with headshots.

The hiring fair is an opportunity for select attendees to meet with employers and discuss career pathways with members of the Georgia AIM team from the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs.

As a statewide initiative directed by Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute, Georgia AIM leads 16 projects across the state to develop and implement AI and smart technologies in manufacturing and workforce development.

Georgia AIM projects include K-12 education, Georgia’s universities and technical colleges, regional partnerships, nonprofits, and support for tech-forward entrepreneurs.
